Hello Beauties!
Just back from the super awesome Zen Festival and still reveling in the awesomeness of the new phones launched by Asus. The first of its kind "Zen Festival" made such a huge splash and enthralled Zen fans and even made some new Zen fans (including me). I just simply cannot wait to get my hands on the Zenfone Selfie and take fabulous pictures! I will tell more about the new phones a little later in the post.
I went along with a blogger friend at 1:15 pm and my! the place was packed and people were already waiting in line at the entrance doors. Luckily, there was a separate line for bloggers and on saying 'Blogmint', the ushers were kind enough to direct us straight to the counter for our passes and goodies :). After some quick poses and pictures outside, we went in and waited for the show to begin! The event opened up with an amazing performance by drummers who wore these fun costumes (inset pic). The crowd went ooo! and ahh! and we knew we were in for a great show. After the drummers act, handsome and dashing Cyrus Sahukar came on stage to be the host for the evening. Entertaining and funny, Cyrus set the show going , engaging in tidbits with some of the audience present. Then came the main part of the event - Unveiling the new phones!. ASUS Chairman, Jonney Shih quickly presented a slideshow on Asus presence and rankings around the world. Not surprisingly, India is the top consumer of ASUS phones! A big round of applause to India for that. Okay, ASUS launched three new phones today -
* Zenfone 2 Deluxe
* Zenfone 2 Laser
* Zenfone Selfie
Am not really a techie blogger so I won't write all the specs and features of these phones. They are however very cool and so very reasonably priced considering their features which Asus boasts are better than Iphone 6. My favorite is the Zenfone Selfie which is specially made for the selfie generation. A front camera with 13 megapixel, wide-angle lens, real time beautification. HDR mode etc, the Zenfone Selfie is going to be the next big thing for selfie lovers!. And priced at INR 15,999 /- only! So, watched out for it next week when it hits the stores.
We were expecting a performance from Sonakshi Sinha but she instead demonstrated the Selfie phone by taking some selfies on stage.
And wait! Asus gave away free Zen Lolliflash for all those who attended. But unluckily, they had run out by the time we exited. But all in all, the Zen Festival was a great event and we had lots of fun and a delightful afternoon. Looking forward to the next Zen festival which I believe is going to be bigger, better and fantastic!.
